  Comedy Village New Talent Show
So...You think you're funny...Think you got what it takes to be a professional comic ?
Then our New Talent Showcase is the place to be. Here is what you do:
  1. Book a New Talent Showcase with Daniela Wals at the Comedy Village
    Previous performers have gone on to perform in the clubs regular lineups at several clubs throughout the city and on the road. Daniela is an expert at tutoring and guiding new comics thru the early stages of their craft and career.
    Daniela is also n experienced working comic, who has opened for Gary Gulman (Winner Last Comic Standing),
    Rick Shapiro (Lucky Louie)     and several of the nations top comics.
  2. Bring 5 audience members and you get 5 minutes on stage
  3. We alsocan video tape your performance at a minimal cost

     

  
 

Open Mic
The Comedy Village open mic has become a tradition. It is a great place for an aspiring comic to perform, and develop their craft. The cost to perform is $5.00 for 5 minutes of stage time.
Sundays Starts: - 7:00 PM
Tuesdays Starts: - 7:00 PM
Thursday Starts: - 6:00 PM
Fridays Starts: - 5:30 PM
Saturdays Starts: - 5:30 PM


  
  Comedy Classes
Do you want to become a stand-up comic? Then you should think about taking our comedy workshop. Our class taught by Daniel Wals who is a veteran professional comic. Daniela has open for such stars as Gary Gulman (Winner Last Comic Standing), Rick Shaprio (HBO's Lucky Louie), Patrice Oneal (HBO One Night Stand)....and many more , many of Daniela's students have gone on to performing in top venues across the country. Daniela's reputation in the industry is respected by all the top comics. She often has guest appearances from seasoned comics to share advanced insights, tips and tools such as Gary Gulman (Last Comic Standing), Greer Barnes (The Chappelle Show) Rodney Craig (BET Comic View) and many others Her teaching style is serious, no nonsense, truthful and a lot of fun.
