Jordon Ferber is a native New York comedian, podcaster, public speaker, and one of the must-see acts in New York. He started his stand-up career in 1999 at age 21 while majoring in Film at Occidental College, where he became a regular host at The Garage in Los Angeles. For two years he honed his skills there before deciding to pursue stand-up in the big city, moving back to New York in 2001.

As a native New Yorker, Ferber had no trouble getting on the circuit, and has since performed in nearly every major club in Manhattan, including the Comedy Cellar, Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s, and Madison Square Garden. His unique delivery and ironic take on life is always funny, and has made him a favorite on the NY scene. He was featured in the 2006 New York Underground Comedy Festival’s Emerging Comics Contest, and produces the weekly stand-up showcase Straight Up Stand Up.

On screen, Ferber has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Mysteries at the Museum. He’s also the producer and host of the podcast “Where’s the Grief?”, where he draws on his own experience as a public speaker and frequent workshop presenter on sibling grief for The Compassionate Friends (TCF), facilitating a sibling support group at the organization’s Manhattan chapter.

Alongside his family, Ferber runs the Russell Ferber Foundation, named for his brother Russell, who was killed in a car accident at age 21. The foundation provides scholarships to the Culinary Institute of America and supports a K-8 school’s learning disabilities program, and Ferber produces a yearly comedy benefit show for it, continuing to bring people together and carry on his brother’s spirit through love and laughter. As he’s put it, comedy is one of the things that saved his life after Russell died giving him purpose and something to smile about even though he’s never brought his brother’s death into his act itself.
