Rojo Perez is a New York-based comedian originally from Puerto Rico. He moved to Florida for college, where he began performing stand-up at age 20 in local clubs and small cafés, before relocating to New York City and becoming a regular in the city’s comedy scene.

Perez made his late-night stand-up debut on TBS’s Conan in August 2017, and in April 2019 he was part of the HBO special “Entre Nos: Spot On.” In a busy 2021, he made his network debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon while also being featured on Comedy Central’s Tight Five. Since moving to New York, he’s been a cast member on MTV’s Decoded, featured on Comedy Central’s Funny ‘Cause It’s True, Time Out New York, TruTV’s Comedy Knockout, and Univision’s FLAMA.

More recently, Perez served as a writer on Netflix’s Drink Masters and is a recurring guest on Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest. A 2016 Standup NBC finalist, he’s performed at major festivals including Just for Laughs, SXSW, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Moontower Comedy Festival. His debut comedy album, “Words,” is streaming now on all platforms.
