Vickie Wang
Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Vickie Wang began her comedy career under censorship in Shanghai, China, in 2017. Her comedy blends sharp cross-cultural observation with storytelling, exploring identity, language, censorship, and cats.
She has opened for comedic stars such as Atsuko Okatsuka and Jenny Yang, was featured in the inaugural Asian food + comedy festival Belly Laughs in Los Angeles, and her show Wang’s World Comedy, co-produced with veteran talent manager Jason Steinberg, has been part of the prestigious New York Comedy Festival.
She’s written opinion piece for The New York Times, and her comedy has been highlighted by NPR, The New Yorker, and the World Journal (iykyk). She is a cat mom of 4 and wants to be just like Vir Das and Ali Wong when she grows up.
