September 30th, 7 PM, the final show of the month at Comedy Village, and the fall season’s last Wednesday of September. A rotating lineup of NYC comedians closing out the month in an intimate Times Square room that has been running great shows all month, all season, and for every night of the year that it’s been open.
The last show of September carries something the first one didn’t. A month of fall-season performances behind it. A crowd that has been to Comedy Village before, that knows this room, comes back to the last show of the month because they know it’s going to be something worth being at. The comedians know it too. The final show of the month is the one where everything the season has produced comes together in one room, one night, one rotating lineup doing what they do best in the city that produced all the material they’re working from.
September ends tonight. It ends with a full comedy room in Times Square, on a Wednesday at 7 PM, with NYC comedians closing out the month on a laugh.
That’s a good way for a great month to end.
