Nine o’clock Thursday on September 24th is a full rotating lineup of NYC comedians in an intimate Times Square room for the crowd that has made it through a full September week and arrived at the last Thursday show of the month ready to be reminded that the week, despite everything it put them through, was worth it.
The fall season has done something to this lineup that summer alone couldn’t. A full month of September performances, added to the summer’s base, has produced comedians who are operating at the highest level they’ve hit all year. The material is current, the timing is precise, and the crowd they perform for at 9 PM on a late September Thursday is one of the most receptive of the entire year.
